Maryland House of Delegates to Hear and Vote on HB 1319 Tomorrow (latest bill reprint + vote count from 3/13 provided)

March 14, 2024

Maryland’s HB 1319 – as amended and voted on in the House Ways & Means Committee – is expected to be heard and voted on in the full House of Delegates tomorrow. The most recent reprint of the bill provided to us is here. The bill passed 15-7 and fell on party lines with one Democrat voting no (vote count can be accessed here).

We believe a new reprint will be issued that includes any changes made in yesterday’s committee meeting and will provide that when it is available.

The voting schedule for tomorrow is fluid at the moment, but we hope to have a timeline narrowed down by tomorrow morning. We are currently working on a prep document for Chair Atterbeary, so she is prepared to rebut any arguments we anticipate will come during tomorrow’s floor debate.

We will provide more intel on what to expect for tomorrow as soon as it is available.
