Massachusetts Introduces New iGaming Bill (H4431)

New iGaming legislation was introduced by Rep. Muradian. You can view H4431 here.
The bill also includes provisions which would prohibit sweepstakes style casino games.
No hearing has been scheduled on the bill.
Key aspects of the bills:
- Licenses to the 3 existing licensed casinos; each casino can offer up to 3 “skins” + the licensed casino can offer multiple brands under their license.
- 15% tax rate
- Master license – $100k fee (5-yr term), renewal fee $100k
- Platform/skin provider license – $50k fee, 50k renewal
- Supplier license – $15k fee
- Live dealer permitted, not required to be hosted in-state if approved under a MISGA compact
- No credit card deposits / $20k daily deposit limit
