MD Mobile Betting Update

It was announced today that the Maryland Sports Wagering Application Review Committee has pushed forward its timeline to approve up to 10 mobile licenses. The SWARC will now meet on November 16th at 9am ET. A link to access a live stream ahead of the meeting can be found here.
After the approval of the master mobile licenses, the MD Lottery will need to have controlled demonstrations of the mobile platforms to ensure they meet testing and other regulatory standard requirements.
It is likely that operators will be approved to launch ahead of Thanksgiving holiday.
