MD – SWARC Circulates Survey on Future Requirements
This week the SWARC met to provide updates on progress towards mobile sports betting. They have yet to formally engage with a firm to conduct a new disparity/industry study.
Based on this study, the SWARC will develop requirements for Class B and mobile licenses with respect to minority/small/woman business ownership.
In the meantime, the SWARC is circulating a survey to companies known to be offering online sports betting in the U.S. to understand how companies intend to achieve some level of minority involvement and their input on what the requirements from SWARC should look like.
