MD SWARC Committee Recap

On 10/19 the Maryland Sports Wagering Application Review Commission (SWARC) held a meeting. Please see the following key highlights:
- The Maryland Lottery will have a qualification hearing on sports betting applications on October 27th.
- If the applications are found qualified, they are then sent back to the SWARC for review.
- It was announced today that on November 21st, SWARC will hold a meeting to review and consider qualified applications.
- Once operators are approved, the MD Lotto will need to undergo two days of testing before allowing for launch.
- We understand that most operators are preparing for an early December launch.
