MD: Two More Retail Sports Wagering Locations Approved by SWARC

On 12/07 the SWARC approved two more locations for retail sports wagering.
Long Shot’s OTB (sports book operator partner not announced) and Riverboat OTB (PointsBet). Both entities have significant minority/woman ownership. In total, 7 retail locations have been approved. Some casinos launched their retail operations beginning 12/09. Additional info on the sports wagering rules/comments and process can be found here.
iDEA continues to monitor activity of the SWARC and MD Lottery and also communicates with these bodies as needed.
