MI Introduces SB 713 and SB 714 - iDevelopment & Economic Association

At the end of last session, Michigan introduced SB 713 and SB 714; two bills that would place restrictions on gambling advertising. The bill sponsor is also pushing for tax increases on sports betting and iGaming.

These bills may get some consideration in the Senate next year when the session starts on January 14, however, we understand they do not have support in the House.

iDEA is working with stakeholders to oppose these new bills and any efforts to increase tax rates.
