Michigan Legislature’s Clean Slate: Pending Bills Expire as New Session Begins Next Week

The legislative session came to an end and the sports/iGaming tax increase bills didn’t pass prior to the end of the legislative session.
Bills in Michigan do not carry over from one legislative session to the next. Any bills that didn’t make it across the finish line would have to be re-introduced in the new legislative session that starts on January 8th.
