Minnesota Session Begins Next Week; Updated Sports Betting Bill Likely to be Introduced

MN’s legislative session starts next week. Senator Jeremy Miller’s previously announced version of an updated sports betting bill will be formally introduced when session starts.
We continue to expect multiple versions of sports betting bills to be discussed. It is anticipated that discussion on sports betting legislation will take place relatively early in the legislative session. Ultimately, negotiations between the tribes and the tracks are going to determine what the final bill will be.
