Minnesota Sports Betting Bill Introduced by Senator Marty

A new sports betting bill, SF 5330, was introduced this week by Senator Marty. This bill includes a 40% tax rate, a ban on in-game betting, and more money spent on problem gambling.
While it is not expected that this bill gains much movement in the legislative process, it is important to note that Senator Marty is the chair of the Senate Finance Committee, which is the committee where the Senate bill (SF 1949) that has seen the most movement is currently stalled.
