MO: HB2502 Referred to Committee on Appropriations

It will be heard on Wednesday April 6th. It is unknown right now if they will make a motion to vote out HB2502 at the conclusion of the hearing.
Senator Hoskins, who supports sports wagering, would like to see a VLT pilot program allowing 5,000 VLT’s across Missouri. We expect an amendment to HB2502 whether that is in committee or on the Senate Floor. This action would be problematic with the Casino’s and their intent would be to kill any VLT effort along the way.
Our team has been working the Senate on this bill and we will offer testimony at the hearing on 04/06.
We are educating members on the need to keep tax rates low and provide incentives for operators to offer bonuses, etc.
