MO: House Votes to Approve Sports Betting Legislation, 115-33
The bill, and the larger issue now resides in the Senate for action. The Senate is in the midst of a political battle on redistricting, so it is not expected that the bill will move until next week (at the earliest in that chamber).

Our team has been working the Senate on this bill. While we believe there would be broad support if brought up for a vote, a single Senator is able to slow down a bill.
The Senate remains a concern given Senator Hoskins attempts to also push VGT legislation with sports betting. The Senator is also pushing for higher tax rates.
We are educating members on the need to keep tax rates low and provide incentives for operators to offer bonuses, etc.
