Money Is Flowing in North Carolina with One Stipulation

The House and Senate have passed the budget.
In the budget, there is language that requires that in order to be licensed, an operator must have a written agreement with one of the state’s professional sports franchises or venues. Casinos and VGT’s weren’t included in the budget. We’re hearing that the legislative leaders are targeting the week of October 2nd for a separate bill to address those issues. iDEA is actively engaged with the North Carolina Legislature on these issues.
