MS Introduces Multiple Bills to Open the Market to Mobile Sports Betting

Mississippi introduced multiple bills this session that would open the market to mobile sports betting. The chair of the House Gaming Committee, Casey Eure, has not yet introduced legislation.
Previously, his bills cleared the House, but stalled in the Senate, where the same opposition remains now with some land-based casinos urging lawmakers to oppose due to cannibalization concerns. The session convened Jan 6 and will adjourn April 4. iDEA will monitor developments in MS.
