NC Sports Betting Tax Rate Update

North Carolina House lawmakers did not include a sports betting tax rate increase in their budget.
Earlier this year, the Senate passed their own version of the budget that included doubling the tax rate to 36%.
There is still work to do to ensure that a final budget bill that is agreed to by both the House and Senate will not include an increase.
