Nebraska Legislature to Discuss Constitutional Amendment for Online Sports Betting

On Monday the Nebraska legislature will discuss two bills related to online sports betting authorization.
The primary bill being discussed would be a constitutional amendment which would put the issue on the ballot in November ’26.
Enabling legislation will also be discussed at the hearing, but we believe that the CA has the best chance of advancing. Assuming the voters approve, lawmakers would need to pass the enabling bill next year.
We expect that social conservative groups will come out to oppose the bill.
