Nebraska Sports Betting Bill Unlikely to Pass

Legislation to authorize mobile sports betting is still alive, however, prospects of passage are very low.
The special session of the legislature will continue to meet next week, but sources on the ground in Nebraska have shared with us that sports betting is now a long-shot to get passed. A copy of the bill is available on the Member Portal. If the bill does not proceed, state lawmakers, including the governor have said they want to consider the legislation next year during the regular legislative session.
