Nebraska Sports Wagering Amendment Clears First Legislative Hurdle with 27-16 Vote

On 04/11 the sports wagering constitutional amendment passed the first of three votes in the full legislature.
The bill passed by a 27 – 16 vote, which is a good majority, but 33 votes will be needed if some lawmakers decide to filibuster the bill, during the next debates.
