New Jersey Governor Primary on June 10 Could Determine Direction of Proposed Tax Increase
The Governor’s primary election is June 10, and it’s likely the budget won’t happen until after the primary. The two front-runners in the race are Jack Ciattarelli (R) and Mikie Sherrill (D). The results of the primary will help determine if there will be a tax increase and how much. As was previously shared, the New Jersey Governor has proposed a tax increase on online gaming and sports betting (see previous update in Member Portal).
