New Jersey Governor Proposes Tax Increase on Online Gaming and Sports Betting

Today, New Jersey’s Governor unveiled a budget that includes $1.2 billion in new taxes and fees, according to administration officials. The largest tax hike would be imposed on online gaming and sports betting; increasing to 25%. iDEA has issued a statement and will continue to monitor.
