New Texas Sports Betting Bill Introduced, but Passage Remains Unlikely

Another sports betting bill was introduced in Texas. It is SJR 65, a companion bill to HJR 134.
However, despite the introduction of the most recent bill, significant obstacles continue to remain to passing sport betting legislation. The likelihood that sports betting legislation passes in the current legislative session remains low.
