North Carolina Issues Notice of Sports Wagering Rulemaking and Comment Period
During a meeting on October 17, the NC State Lottery Commission’s Sports Betting Committee issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and the first set of proposed rules; both can be accessed here.
The Commission will accept public comments regarding these rules through 11:59 p.m. ET, November 1, 2023 via the Commission’s public comment webform here.
If you prefer to submit comments in another format, you may email them to PublicComment@ncgaming.gov and include your name, contact information, business or organization (if applicable), and the rule numbers to which your comments relate.
The Commission has scheduled a public hearing to accept public comments on October 27, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the North Carolina State Lottery Commission Headquarters. Individuals who wish to make an oral presentation at the public hearing must register to speak at least one business day in advance of the hearing via their web portal here.
