Now Available – AGCO’s Internet Gaming Go-Live Compliance Guide
Today, the AGCO released the Internet Gaming Go-Live Compliance Guide outlining go-live compliance requirements for operators and suppliers seeking to participate in Ontario’s regulated online gaming market. You can access the guide here.
(From the AGCO’s press release)
What’s in the guide?
The guide is divided into five sections:
- Section 1 — Learn how the internet gaming compliance approach fits within the AGCO’s risk-based and outcome-focused regulatory framework.
- Section 2 — View requirements for Operators and Gaming-Related Suppliers to provide a Technology Compliance Confirmation for review by the AGCO.
- Section 3 — See requirements for Operators and certain Gaming-Related Suppliers to develop and submit a Control Activity Matrix.
- Section 4 — Read a summary of requirements to ensure Independent Testing Lab (ITL) certifications are in place before going live.
- Section 5 — Plan for success with an overview of go-live activities and requirements related to the AGCO Internet Gaming Notification Matrix and AGCO Secure Data Exchange.
A copy of the AGCO’s ITL certification process is included in the guide to help Operators understand the AGCO’s expectations of the certification process. A list of registered ITLs is available on the AGCO’s website.
We hope you find the Internet Gaming Go-Live Compliance Guide useful and informative on your path to enter the Ontario market. Going forward, this guide will be updated with content related to ongoing (post go-live) compliance requirements and key processes.
