NY iGaming Bill Faces Headwinds

NY Senator Addabbo’s online gaming bill is facing major headwinds since the Governor did not include it in her budget, along with recent union opposition. See recent story here.
It is unlikely this bill can move a standalone, however, there will be attempts to tie the revenue from iGaming to the final budget.
iDEA remains engaged with NY lawmakers and has requested an opportunity to testify at any future hearings on the matter.
