NY Introduces New Bill on Sports Betting Wagers; the Fair Play Act

A new bill was introduced in New York called the Fair Play Act, which would bar licensed sportsbooks from banning or limiting wager sizes unless it is tied to responsible gambling or sports integrity concerns.
While there is not a Senate sponsor of the bill, there is a junior member of the Assembly sponsoring it. The session will begin in January. iDEA will engage with lawmakers to raise concerns with this legislative proposal.
