NY: New Legislative Redistricting Negatively Impacts Gaming Champion

In non-policy related news, gaming champion, Senator Addabbo, has been negatively impacted by new legislative redistricting maps. Where he currently resides is being cut into 3 new districts, so he will need to move so that he can run in a new district without having to challenge one of his incumbent colleagues.
It is likely he will run in the new District 15 where he will have a primary challenger and more significantly a credible general election challenger.
We spoke with Senator Addabbo this week and he expressed frustration over his redistricting situation, but feels confident that he can continue his service in the Senate with the proper support. He remains a committed ally on several issues for our industry.
