OCCC Finalizes First Batch of Rules
The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) has finalized the first batch of rules and have filed with the state for public comment.
They have also provided updated Batch 2 rules, and are seeking another round of stakeholder feedback. We expect the 4th batch or rules to be release before the end of February, and then the 5th (and final batch) in early March. The OCCC is hoping to have all stakeholder input by the end March. iDEA is preparing comments on the he updated 2nd batch of rules regarding what the Commission should consider when determining the “incremental economic benefit” for granting a 2nd skin. We believe that the updated version of rules increases the standard unnecessarily.
