Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine Proposes Doubling Tax on Sports Betting

In his recommended two-year state budget proposal, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine proposed doubling the tax on sports betting from 10% to 20% and banning the marketing of promotional credits as “free” or “risk-free” bets unless they can be made without an initial deposit.
