Ohio Lawmakers Finalize Budget Bills; iGaming Not Included, but Could Resurface

House and Senate leaders are finalizing their budget bills. Currently, iGaming is not included, but that can change given the budget dynamics. On June 19, iDEA shared some key data coming from the Eilers’ study we commissioned, which shows that a competitive market (17+ entrants) with lower license fees and an effective tax rate of 29.7% would generate $3.1b in tax revenue over 5 years.
