Ohio Speaker Says iGaming Will Not be a Priority This Session or Next

The Speaker of the House made comments recently that he is not prioritizing gaming expansion for the remainder of this session and next.
iDEA still sees Ohio as a strong opportunity for the future and are examining opportunities to raise the issue of gaming expansion as the state discusses property tax relief. Our local lobbyist is regularly engaging with key lawmakers, and we are planning to host a lawmaker dinner in Columbus tentatively on Nov 18.
