State Sen. Herron Gaston and Rep. Tony Scott filed SB 971, a bill that would prevent operators from advertising financial enticements and prohibit gamblers from funding their online gaming activity with a jointly held debit or credit card account.
The bill was assigned to the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Security, and the committee conducted a hearing on the bill on Feb. 14.
