Sports Betting Remains on Missouri’s November Ballot

With sports betting remaining on the ballot, the first public opposition to it has begun to take shape.
Last week, Caesars entities funded the Missourians Against the Deceptive Online Gambling Amendment campaign with $4 million. Caesars traditionally has supported OSB expansion in Missouri, however, they believe the ballot measure as drafted would limit their position in the market. Public polling is nearly 50/50 currently, and a significant effort by the opposition would almost certainly imperil the chances of the ballot measure passing.
