Two MO Legislators File Sports Betting Bills Ahead of 2023 Session

Missouri legislators recently pre-filed two separate sports betting bills for the 2023 legislative session, which begins on Jan. 4, 2023. Sen. Denny Hoskins prefiled SB1 to legalize sports wagering and allow video lottery terminals (VLTs) to operate while Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer prefiled SB30 which authorizes sports wagering.
