Update from Virginia

Two bills in Virginia that would reinstate sports betting promotional deductions moved forward in the legislative process.  SB 1142 was reported out of committee by an 11-4 vote.

 HB 2202 was reported out of a subcommittee by a vote of 6-2.

These bills are in response to a change in Virginia’s biennial budget that ended unlimited promotional deductions from taxable revenue. You can read more here.
