Updates from Massachusetts Gaming Commission Meeting

The Mass Gaming Commission (MGC) announced that more than 20 operators submitted info to be considered for licensure by the Oct 17th deadline. Since the number of likely applicants exceeds the number of available licenses, we anticipate the MGC to be very deliberate in their selection process.
- Some Commissioners want to remove the proposed launch dates for retail/mobile – there was not resolution to their concerns.
- The current DEADLINE for operators to submit their license application is Nov 21.
- The rules were not voted on, and remain in draft form. They can be viewed on here.
- They also did not discuss vendor licensing and pushed it to a future meeting.
