VA House Gaming Subcommittee to Vote on HB 161 Feb 3

The House Gaming Subcommittee of the General Laws Committee will meet tomorrow, Feb 3 after the floor session completes. The committee agenda can be viewed here.
HB161, Del. Simon’s iGaming bill, will be heard and voted on in the subcommittee. The bill could be amended with the same provisions that were adopted in the Senate. We also understand that Del. Krizek may be looking to add a “reenactment provision” which would delay enactment of the law until the establishment of the Gaming Commission.
The team in Richmond is working on the bill now so that it continues to advance. We may travel again to Richmond to testify if needed.
