Virginia to Hold Second Informational Hearing on Gaming

Virginia state lawmakers will hold a second informational hearing on gaming on October 20. An agenda for this hearing has not yet been made public. General information about the hearing can be found here
For our previous update regarding the Virginia hearing on August 19, iDEA shared data, provided by GeoComply, to state lawmakers that illustrates the size and scope of the illegal online gaming market that already exists in VA. iDEA did not testify at the hearing. We are considering the possibility of testifying at the October 10 hearing.
