Wyoming Files Interactive Gaming Bill

Wyoming’s iGaming bill – HB o162 – has been filed. Some key takeaways from the bill include:

  • Tax is 16% (excludes free play/promotions)
  • Defines “qualified gaming entity” as a company that has been approved to offer iGaming in at least 3 states
  • Seeks to have a minimum of 5 qualified entities approved
  • $100,000 interactive gaming operator permit fee, renewal of $50,000 after 5 years
  • $10,000 vendor permit fee, renewal fee of $5,000 after 5 years
  • Prohibits iGaming on tribal lands unless permitted under compact
