Wyoming iGaming Bill Takes Shape as Legislature Prepares for 2024 Session

January 10, 2025

Our lobbyist is connecting with lawmakers on the issue and coordinating with other stakeholders on strategy and outreach.

We anticipate that the iGaming bill will be filled by 01/13 and we have identified at least three-cosponsors to the bill – Reps. Brown, Larson and Sen. Gierau. It will look like last year’s bill, but with a tax rate of 16% instead of 10%.

The state gaming commission released a study that looks at possible gaming expansion in the state, including iGaming. More info about the study can be found on the Member Portal.

The leadership has announced its priorities which include, property tax relief, no ESG investments, no DEI programs at the University and lowering government spending.  The priorities will be addressed first.
